Peanuts are relatively high in protein, with about 12 grams of protein in 100 grams of fresh peanuts. In 100 grams of raw peanut kernels, the protein content can reach up to 24 grams. Peanuts also have a high fat content, containing 25 grams of fat in 100 grams of fresh peanuts and up to 44 grams in 100 grams of dried peanuts. They are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, primarily linoleic acid, and contain various vitamins and minerals. However, due to their high fat content, they are not recommended in large amounts for those managing their weight or dealing with hyperlipidemia.
